LOL, absolutely ridiculous and incorrect interpretation of the commercial… “we have to stop putting regressive ideology on equal footing with progressive ideology” — only that’s not what’s happening. The point is that personal connection and human contact often change minds far more quickly and effectively than a shouting match or condescension. Daryl Davis is proof of this (though the author would probably find some way to dog him if she heard his story). Not everyone is advanced enough to sit down with someone they disagree with and try and understand complicated histories… But just because DiDi Delgado can’t or won’t do such a thing and fails to understand the core premise in the piece she critiques doesn’t mean everyone else who does is “stupid”. Get a clue DiDi.
