[Ever wonder who made up this nonsense that Hillary is the most-qualified candidate for president in everyone’s lifetime? I can only guess but, since it’s so obviously untrue, I’m betting it originated with The Secretary herself, who ordained it fitting and proper that her own appraisal be repeated (with appropriate gravitas and piety) always and often by the dismal bullshit artists in her press office, who also earn their keep by withholding access from real reporters who refuse to mouth talking points on cue and otherwise play ball. And thus it became gospel — likely on the grounds that if it weren’t gospel why else would everyone agree it is so? But I digress.]

Thanks for posting this, Holly, and opening our eyes to the suffering we cause when we appoint well-connected fixers to high office, instead of thoughtful and high-minded public servants.

I hope Bernie Sanders has learned how not to appoint secretaries of State from Barack Obama as well as he seems to have learned how not to appoint Treasury secretaries.
