I’m afraid that you can ‘pay-up’ all you want, but most furniture made these days is going to be crap. I read this when I noticed how the couch looked similar to the one my dear old Mom has. Bought in the 50’s, re-upholstered once in 70 years. If you like mid-century modern, buy mid-century modern, made in the 1950's.
