I love the idea of a global solutions day! However, it seems to me that maybe what we also need is a global “holution” day. “Solutions” are what I call the “We need to’s …” Saying, “We need to … enact a carbon tax, for example, is not really to talk about a solution if there is no “We” capable of bringing it into being. The holution is the “We” part of “We need to.” That’s what is most needed to address and solve climate change, for example.
