Yes Johannes, our product is quite similar to the Quartz app in terms of the functionality. One major difference being that our chat works in a web browser and the user doesn’t need to download a standalone app. So that solves the reach issue, I think.
I have a quick question — why do you think having predefined interactions is a negative? because you need extra resources for this?
We are going to be the providers of technology/interface to any publisher to deliver news over chat. Aim is to replace websites(as they exist today) with our chat interface. Integration with existing messaging platforms is something we are still thinking about.
Personally, I didn’t like the current version of Forbes bot. It’s good to have it automated and build basic intelligence, but if am on Telegram, I don’t want to go back to the same old static articles. I think it has to be about information consumption, not just discovery.
