Week 2_Reflections_Intelligence #wfe2

· During your own education, how has your “intelligence” been assessed?

During my own education, the intelligence was assessed by examinations. If you got a good score, you were more or less labeled as intelligent. However, in some other cases, if you participated in the class and answered teacher’s question quickly, you would be also labeled as intelligent.

· How has this affected the educational opportunities you have been given?

I did quite well in my high school and got the opportunity to enter a famous university. From there, I had a better quality of education and met more competent people. However, some of my friends didn’t get the opportunity to a better university. They continued to learn new knowledge and become successful in their work and daily life.

· What judgments have people made about you that have been affected by an assessment of your “intelligence”?

When I got good result of my entry examination, people thought I’m competent and good at learning.

· Do you consider yourself to be a “learner”? why?

Yes. I’m definite a learner as I’m learning now;-) I’m interested in new knowledge. Especially, knowledge about education. I spend time in practicing yoga and reading books. I want to become a better self and a better learner.
