Wonderful iOS 8?
I am a person who like to expose myself to a new software. I like to explore and take some time to play with it and discover new functions with excitement.
However, as soon as iOS 8 was released, I was in full of doubt whether it surpasses the adventage and surprise that iOS 7 brought. I was actually enjoying too much comfort from iOS 7. Throughout the reviews on everywhere like Google, Facebook and even Naver (Korean Search Engine), I decided not to update softward for my precious iPhone 5S.
Tim Cook said iOS 8.0.2 would be much better. I trusted him. The fact that he is the successor of Steve Jobs relieved me from worrisome and hesitation to switch operating system.
So I finally did it. And what’s the result?
iOS 8 disappointed me much. The design of control center was awful without the outline of each icon. Although there is small difference with the layout, such as the narrower lines between the number, name from the phone app, it does not look sophisticated and neat enough.
Well, alright. I can compromise with myself by saying “Anyways, it functions well.”
What I mostly concerns is the photo function. I am a person who values on the photo so much. I like to take photo with family and friends. It means a lot to me. I feel like I am taking a moment of my life and wish to preserve as long as possible. I loved to see the timelapse function. It is perfect.
What I was disappointed most is the disappearance of Camera Roll from photo which shows the all taken photos.
Oh My Gosh. What happened? Does it imply to use the Special Moment photo thing? It’s much complicated to use for me. It can be the special moment to you to use the function, but Camera Roll which shows the all photos is the most special moment to me.
Just because there is no section of all photos in the album, it instantly degrades the value of iOS 8.
I want my Camera Roll right now.
