Hopefully, my words would speak to your heart tonight and would do justice to a mere attempt of mine expressing my gratefulness through a series of posts.

I send my greetings on this beautiful occasion of Guru Poornima. It is said, that the goal of love is to dissolve.

Kabir said, Prem gali ati sankari, tamein dou na samai

The street of love is too narrow, where two can’t exist. Year after year, on this full moon, students, disciples and devotees gather from all over the world. And, year after year, Gurudev, Sri Sri Ravishankar, fills our heart with gratitude and love. A unique love , unconditional love , divine love.

Krishna once waged a war on Narakasura, the king of then Iraq. Narakasura was an evil king, who would trouble his subjects. He had 16000 wives. And, everyone came to Krishna for help and in turn Krishna defeated him. Upon Narakasura’s death all his wives were distressed ( along with being happy on his death ) on being widowed , that the then society wouldn’t accept them. It is then that Krishna gave them his last name and from then on they accepted Krishna as their husband.

Probably, a story that many do not know.

On this beautiful occasion of Guru Poornima, I wish all of you tons of love in your life. I will share more stories, when I can type a little more with less laziness, from Boone, a city atop 3333' feet above the sea level.

Lots of Love,

Jitesh
