Well, the first thing I learned about implementing social change was that people are 1. Ignorant, 2. Distrustful, & 3. Abhor Change. Once that is understood, your strategies for change start to become much more effective.

It’s interesting to read that applied to the individual as a form of self-improvement. And I can instantly identify people I know who are paradigmatic of these qualities. I wonder if the strategies of a Change Agent could, therefore, be targeted to the individual? I will have to contemplate more on this…
