These user-friendly dugouts make it quite possible to take your smoking time anywhere while keeping everything you need in one place. Here’s a quick 4-Steps guide!

1 Choose Your Dugout

Dugouts are a carrying case for the tobacco and pipe available comprising of different materials from wood and plastic to leather and metal. They have a single compartment for the pipe to sit in while the other chamber holds the smoking product. Certain models come with added chambers for extra fillers for the pipe or products while others have space for lighter as well.

2 Setting the Model

Keep your dugout well geared is important and a straightforward process. Rotate the top to secure one-hitter into the small pipe chamber. Position your tobacco in the large flat-bottom compartment next to the pipe. If your dugout comes with a cleaning tool, place it in the narrow slot close to the pipe chamber. Another smart approach is to grind the tobacco that fits better in the chamber and burns more smoothly.

3 Dig In

It’s a perfect time to dig in! Simply remove the pipe and drive it bowl end down into the compartment along with the smoking item. Thrust it resolutely down to the lowermost of the compartment while bending the pipe clockwise and counterclockwise. Keep an optimal balance when pressing one-hitter into the tobacco resulting in a less dense and small packed bowl. Once you are done with packing, light the hitter while smoothly inhaling. When placing the pipe back after use, make sure to position its bowl end up. It will shove the end with residue flush alongside the dugout lid. In case there is any leftover tobacco in the bowl, put the pipe in a bowl for later use.

4 Clean and Maintain

After using the dugout, it’s a great idea to clean your dugout box. Since many dugouts are built from wood and other natural materials, it’s not safe to use chemical cleaners. Instead, you can clean it using a cotton swab. Soak the cotton swab in warm water and scrub with it. It’s important to clean the bottom of the swivel top if the ashen end of your pipe press against it.
