Glad to see someone who has actually written a skill comment on the limitations. As the author of the most complex skill on Alexa, StarLanes, I haven’t found #4 much of an imposition. Much more critical has been the absence of promotion options. You cannot buy advertising directed at Alexa users and even if you wanted to sink money into a scattershot ad buy, there’s no link you can direct them to. These sort of things need more discussion in the media, which is too full of sunshine and roses and no thorns. This article provides welcome relief.
