Dumbly Do

by Jason John Bartholomew

Based on the one line poetry prompt, “follow.”

I followed you thru the ally, over the divide, down the ragged, switchback foot path, around the cautionary Sharp Turn Ahead, under that don’t-go-under-underpass, past the points, then right on past the point of return, beyond the edge into free-falling and fast, oppsy-daisy blue, watched you pull a parachute from nowhere, just the one, and a with a mouthful of gulf stream pantomime “”later, bitch” with upthumbs.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
