It is kinda sad to see how much the BAy Area has changed through the years but it’s also as exciting as hell.

They say you can never go home again. But have we really come ThAT far since the 60’s. I marched with Dr. king….I protested in D.C. Against the war in Vietnam, I got beat, billy-clubbed, tear gasses and jailed in the name of PEACE. And we HAVE come quite a long way since then. I mean, when’s the last time someone got assassinated?Now we just push a button and let a cute little flying machine take out whole cities. THAT PROGRESS!

We talk about overpopulation, world hunger and curing cancer. And a group of scientists get together and invent Viagra and consider THAT an accomplishment.

LUckly, I bought 10 acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains back in 1969 and still live there. And up there it’s still about peace love and harmony. 
Things have definitely changed out there but at least I can still go home again.
