Back again :) Thanks for the explanation about how to traverse an ndarray of pixel data, I spent the last day trying to figure out a small issue but got it resolved, here’s the project I’m working on — https://github.com/jjmax75/node-hexmap-generator very early stages and code needs a lot of tidying up.
This will take a map image as an input and output an array of terrain represented in the image. The array can then be plugged into an app I’m developing to produce a hex grid of tiles that can be edited and have data associated with them.
There’s a visual example on the readme file that does a better job of explaining this then I can :)
