The biggest challenge you will ever face is you. Your mind is your downfall. We, without thought, construct scenarios of how situations will play out, primarily depending on fears, experiences, insecurities, hear-say and other influential entities. We subconsciously create expectations, good or bad, and then decide whether or not the outcome is good or bad, depending on whether or not what actually happens comes close to our mental construct. This isn’t a good or bad thing, it’s a real thing. Actually it’s a disastrous thing. It’s a terrible thing, an unavoidable thing. If you’re reading this, hoping for a solution, then like with most things in this life, you’ll be sorely disappointed.

When fantasy and reality dont match, our usual response is frustration. Disappointment envelopes us and rage can consume us. I don’t subscribe to the belief that life is what you make it, when life, and it’s many conditions is the aggregate product of the results or decisions of many other interweaving lives, lives over which we have no control. I do, however, believe that perspective is half the battle, but how much control can we have over perspective? This is possibly a foolish question, but its a question nonetheless. So when our mind and the series of outcomes it creates dont hold fast to reality, isn’t it best to just accept and move on? Perhaps. Easier said, seldom done.

I’ve recently learned, that our minds, to a greater extent can’t be controlled, so we can’t always adhere to everything it tells us. I’ve also recently learned that people can’t be controlled, so we can’t believe everything they tell us. So what do we have? What can we safely say is “True". Our minds deceive, people mislead. What is left? Chaos.
