Not sure how Baltimore doesn’t make this list with their unholy power anchored by an MVP candidate. Maybe I am just bias. Being from the Balt/DC area I watch both teams a lot. I can assure you — no one “fears” the Nats line-up. Balt has more HRs, Runs, Hits, with higher team averages, OBP and OPS. Maybe the argument is the Nats have to deal with a pitcher spot? But once you get past Harper and Murphy, no hitter makes anyone stress. Baltimore, however, you get past Machado (which means moving past Jones and .333 hitter Kim first), here is HR leader Trumbo, followed by Davis (most HRs by any player in baseball the last four years), Weiters, and Schoop. All guys who just murder mistakes.
