Drumline

In watching the three homework videos, I was immediately reminded of a cheerleading competition I once watched. The arena like seating, the matching outfits, the preparation. Of course the drumline performances were much more meticulously laid out, with more emphasis on the music and story than tricks. As a dancer, I was incredibly impressed by how well the musicians walked and danced in sync, especially with the addition of playing music while performing the choreography. Out of the three, my favorite was the last, as it was the most dramatic and had the most interesting filming, although that doesn’t really have much to do with the musicians themselves.
