Why I stopped Writing on Medium
Pavithra Aravindan

The first thing every writer needs to do is to forget about who might read what they write. That’s nice to have people interested in your writing, but to be fair it really doesn’t matter. The drive is about writing. It’s not about gaining attention. Think about it a moment….does it ever dawn you that what you are reading was written by someone hoping folks would read it? Is that the only option? It’s not. If you are reading something …..you are reading something. The author doesn’t know you are reading their piece unless you tell them that you are. Does that stop the writer? Nope.

So keep that in mind. Write because you love to write. And leave it at that.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
