Powerful and worth passing onto people who are parenting right now , or teaching girls too. So many ridiculous arguments about gender and concern about children playing on teams come because of antiquated ideas about girls and boys.
I raised all three of my children to understand that their right to hit any one ended where their own nose began . No body gets to touch your body without asking your permission and that includes doctors. Two sons, one daughter each were taught not to stay silent if someone was trying to bully them and it was never acceptable to be hit because a boy liked a girl.
