You are standing on a high bridge over a canyon made out of wooden planks. You look down at your feet in hiking boots and your feet are hip width apart but the gap between the planks is almost as wide as your feet. You see the greenery growing on the canyon floor and you get a weird sense of being pulled down that space between the planks as your legs drift apart. The threat you feel is created by sensory distortion.
