I believe you misunderstood me. The 18 months is how long they’ve been looking, not my own personal statute of limitations.

And I’ll paraphrase myself: If there were obviously laws broken, then it should be very easy to charge someone with a crime.

So far, after 18 months of looking, the most we gotten is (again I paraphrase), “We think that it might be groups known as APT 28 and/or APT 29, and we think that these groups are probably associated with Russian gov’t spy groups.”

If we can’t identify with unambiguously who did what, then we most certainly can’t say unambiguously that crimes were committed. So far, that is the case. I’ll wait with further judgement until we see something from Mueller.
