Do calories on the menu work?

Theres’a new law here where calories need to be written on the menu.

I went for lunch with a friend twice.

The first time he went he was shocked at how many calories he was about to order and he chose something different. It worked!
The second time though he was prepared and instead chose not to look.

The problem the second time around is that it’s not a surprise anymore and the decision then becomes to look or not to look.

Of course the decision is based on your self-discipline.

As much as you change the external influences in your life — ultimately the change needs to happen internally for it to last.
