Stop Living in Fear
I’m at the airport waiting for a flight to NYC. The TV above my head is annoyingly blaring the news about what’s going on in the world.
I haven’t watched TV for many years so I’m sensitive to what’s being promoted and it feels like it’s on repeat.
Every few minutes is an alarming message that induces fear. About gossip and about what might happen.
Fear stunts your growth. It robs you of life.
Fear is always about the future. It doesn’t exist in the present moment. Just look around you, you have shelter, you have food, friends and more. We have more than a king would have had a few centuries ago.
It’s fair to say that if you’re reading this — life is relatively good.
It’s not our reality that people fear it’s ideas about our reality. This causes worry and stress.
If you can’t control the outcome don’t bother with it. Stop poisoning your mind. Work on something that feeds your soul instead and live every day in moment.
