What’s New?

It’s the first question we ask someone when we haven’t seen them in a while.

New is what comes up in conversation and is why the news is called the news.

Yet most brands never utilize the power of news and let their brands fall stagnate because there’s nothing new to talk about.

The Nordik spa in my city is doing this right.

When I go to the Nordik Spa there’s always something new being built. The last time I went, they advertised a poster on the construction wall saying they have a new mud bath coming soon.

On a few occasions now I’ve talked about the Nordik Spa to friends and the same remarks comes up:

“Is the mud bath open yet?” or even better “I love that place, there’s always something new there”

New gives people something to talk about and a reason to go back.
 New makes a good story.
