I dont trust doctors because they dont trust me. Years of misdiagnosis and years of shifting medical advice have left a bad taste in my mouth. The body is a complex thing and maybe if your patient isnt responding to your prescribed treatment, theres a problem that is real and not caused by your patient lying to you. I have hard time being labeled a non compliant patient when I know I am not. I have a hard time with it taking 7 and 10 years to get diagnosed. Lyme disease and PCOS caused me a lot of heartache, and fortunately Jesus is faithful when I haven’t been able to get medical care. I’m blessed to be alive and blessed to have two children. Dr Fung got my attention when he said his research started because he believed his patients were doing what he asked and it wasnt working. His lack of arrogance and seeker mentality makes me wish he was my doctor. I think arrogantly holding onto wrong approaches to nutrition, exercise, and yes cholesterol functionality in the body has convinced many of us that we can learn more researching ourselves than going to the doctor. I have yet to find a doctor who knows what autophagy is, or who understands the benefits of fasting Where did I learn about this? Online research! Youtube videos of doctor Fung provided date, and I lurked in an online group for six months and listened to people who were putting his ideas into practice. Feldman also has youtube videos on cholesterol being a reflection of only three days of diet, and how you can literally invert your numbers in that amount of time. Inflammation is the issue in causing health problems, cholesterol only is an issue in the presence of inflammation. In engineering we call this a root cause analysis, and its the only way to solve a problem. Otherwise you are putting bandaids on a festering wound that never heals.

I have yet to find a doctor other than the toxicologist who diagnosed me with lyme disease, who understands that people have genes and genes also on their mitochondria that affect your bodys ability to detox, so one child may do better processing toxins than another, which would explain having consequences to vaccines in some children. With all the controversy why not take the toxins out of vaccines. How many pennies more would it cost and why isnt a priority? I don’t hear that discussion: I just hear arrogance and business as usual. Maybe I missed it, and its out there. Its possible. I do vaccinate my kids but I space it out like in the 1980s and hope for the best, because there wasnt an autism explosion then. Of course they keep putting vaccines together in combinations, making it harder to space out vaccinations which is leading to more parents opting out. There have been studies on how pesticides affected children of tennant farmers and a discussion of the genes that affect detox. I read them a decade ago when I was sick with lyme, and the CDC and doctors were telling me I could not possibly have lyme because it was not in my state. I didnt leave the state and they were wrong. I cant die for arrogance. Thats not a hill worth dying on, as they say. There are some good doctors out there. Finding them is a journey. Thanks for being one of them Jason Fung!
