Myers-Briggs: Yay or nay?

So I took the Myers Briggs personality test for the first time, and I was surprised. I was reading my results, and it was a just a little too spot on. I’m usually skeptic with these kinds of things, but the things they said about my personality were just ridiculously accurate. I felt as if they knew me better than I did.

I mean — after I finished the intro, my eyes were wide open. I was making a duck-face and was nodding my head throughout the romantic relationships section, and by the end of it, I was looking for a meme to express how it made me feel. I found one by the way.

“ They tend to see life as a big, complex puzzle where everything is connected — but unlike Analysts, who tend to see that puzzle as a series of systemic machinations, ENFPs see it through a prism of emotion, compassion and mysticism, and are always looking for a deeper meaning.” This is one of the sentences that really stood out to me, and yet, I don’t fully grasp what it means, but it still makes me nod my head and think, “Yup, that’s me.”

I’m curious to see what everyone else thinks about the Myers Briggs. Have you taken it? Did you have the same experience I did?
