Remote Design Sprint in 8 days
Design Sprint is a method that I particularly like for all the energy and the value it brings to a team and to a product.
In the current delicate context (Covid-19) where we have all switched to distributed working , managing to keep your activity running in the most efficient and impactful way as possible is essential. To even go one step further, I find that this period act as a strong reminder for all to rethink our priorities and spend our energy in what is really essential, in what really valuable.
So if you have a really impactful challenge to tackle around your product and if you are convinced that now is the right time to launch your sprint design (is it the right time?)…
…
… how can you act if all your team switched on a distributed work mode ?
I therefore propose you an adaptation of the original 5-days Design Sprint agenda into a 8-days agenda, more adapted to the remote work.
The original Design Sprint agenda
I like to think that the original 5-days Design Sprint brings a great value, mostly because the participants (often with varied profiles and coming from different teams) are “stuck” together in a meeting room during a full week to collaborate and solve a challenge related to their product.
