Taylor Swift won the Best Female Video category for her song “You Belong With Me” beating out Beyonce’s smash hit “Single Ladies”. Just after Swift finished her speech, Kanye West stormed on stage to express his disapproval on the win by saying “Hey Taylor, hey Taylor, I’m really happy for you I will let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time”. What followed was nothing short of awkward and stressful, luckily for Taylor however, she did get to finish her speech when Beyonce won Video of The Year the highest honor at the VMA’s and decided to give her speech time to Taylor who came out in a stunning red gown coincidentally matching with Beyonce.
