New Year…
My Journey to Be a Healthier and Better Person
I like to think of myself as a fairly healthy person…but it seems lately I have gotten away from that part of my life. I can definitely feel a difference too, I am not as energetic, my mood fluctuates, and I just have not felt happy with the way things are going. Well, that stops today. 01-01-2014 I am recommitting myself to being healthier and fit. Whatever happened to get me stuck in my rut is now in the past and I am working towards a better future. I have decided to blog about my journey to share my struggles, my successes and to help inspire others (hopefully)…and honestly, to keep me focused and on track with my goals!
There are a few goals I have set for myself, the first being to eat less processed foods and sugars. To take time everyday to reflect on my life and my goals. To get back into running shape (I still would like to run a marathon this year at some point!). I want to drop 30 by my 30th, many of my friends will be saying, “but Jacob you do not have 30 pounds to lose”, well at the current point in time I weigh 211 and am 6'2". 30 pounds is more then an achievable goal! I have a 195 days till my 30th Birthday on 07-15-2014. New year a new outlook on life with a renewed since optimism. Here is to an awesome 2014…Positive Mental Attitude!
