Preserving Persepolis
Vika Dlomen

This was fascinating and quite compelling. I recently finished reading a book on world history during the Renaissance years. The book took an interesting approach in that they would detail what was happening in England during a certain year, but from there they would branch out to cover France, Spain and Germany. They didn’t stop there though. They would also tell you what was happening in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, India, China and Russia. As best they could they pieced together a comprehensive overview of everything that was happening during the time that they were discussing. That’s a really long-winded way of saying that the experience of reading that book introduced me to several cultures and individuals that I want to learn more about.

Thank you for sharing a bit about the Persian culture. I look forward to future essays.
