June is for Weddings!

HISTORICALLY Speaking…

The Florence B. Dearing Museum in Hartland’s Village District is like a mini Greenfield Village — an amazing space filled with the history of Hartland area residents from decades long gone.

Since June is the traditional month for weddings, we are highlighting a bride’s hat and a groom’s vest — items actually worn by the Meeker-Wilkinson wedding party in Hartland 1907. To see the lovely collection of turn-of-the century WEDDING DRESSES you will need to stop by the Dearing Museum any Wednesday this summer from 2:00 to 4:00 PM!

Thank you to Dearing Museum Docents Charlene Kroll and Bill McEachern for their time and tales of Hartland through the ages!
