This article is really good and on point! Based from my experience, I’ve also encountered the “I don’t” moment, whereas it helps me build my identity with my peers.

As I’m building my identity as a healthy eating person, I’ve noticed as time passes by, it really helps me to not eat certain food which I know is not good for me and keeps me consistent with the healthy food.

I also believe that there’s a psychological reason behind “I can’t” vs “I don’t”, because for me saying “I can’t” is just a way of saying “Not today but later” while “I don’t” is a way of saying “I really don’t eat that food”.

On the road of becoming the best version of myself!
