Justin Hartmann

Hi Justin!

Definitely good to hear from a fellow St. Louisan. Most people I try to talk to about Ramit have no idea who or what I’m referring to. Good to know I’m not alone in the midwest!

As far as Project Burn, I really enjoyed the program and thought it was a good one. Wanted it to last longer and unfortunately, I didn’t post any updates, cuz you know, life finds a way of eliminating the time you meant to spend on something.

I did have some success on the program. I lost a little over 20 pounds in the 14 (? can’t remember exactly how long) weeks we did it. After the program I had knee surgery for a torn meniscus and was decommissioned for longer than expected. So, unfortunately, that led to weight gain. Therefore, it turned out to be another short term fix for a long term problem.

The support from the community was fantastic and I still g-chat two other guys who did the program. We try our best to check in weekly and see each others progress. Since the beginning of this year, I’ve been able to lose 14 pounds. There are definitely things we learned in the program that have translated to long term mindsets.

We were all pretty disappointed it wouldn’t become a full fledged program. It definitely had potential. And we can always hope it does get developed. If it does, I’d definitely consider it, I’m sure Ramit will make sure it’s worth it.

Wish you the best on your journey! One day both of our inner glory will shine as outer glory. :-)
