And certainly it wasn’t my intention to make it a teaser. My hope is that it holds up on its own but also can help me begin to tell a much longer story.

I agree with you about the commenting — It’s tough to get used to. Essentially, medium treats every comment as it’s own blog post — so when you want to comment on a comment you have to click on that post itself.
