Kuromaku

Again, consolidating several of my domains into one place — here at Medium. I don’t use my personal web site(s) all that much, so my goal is to get rid of my wordpress.com site(s) So this isn’t really a story. Some years ago (before I landed in Private Equity), I had a consulting company with several partners, called Kuromaku. Roughly translated, Kuromaku means “black curtain” and it was used to describe the men behind the scenes that were controlling the real power. Puppet masters if you will. We were a small team that worked behind the scenes to help companies — ergo, Kuromaku. My wife did a really nice graphic design for our logo:
