The Old Bluesmen Are Dying

It is the music that is eternal. The rest is inevitable for us all. Also left behind is the inspiration. Son House died over 30 years ago but I regularly listen to Jack White’s version of Death Letter (More properly The White Stripes version). And so long as I listen, his vision remains with us. I hope and pray my sons learn to love Howlin Wolf. It gives me hope when my time comes.
