ANDELA BOOT CAMP DAY TWO

You only need to believe you can do it! And take a step!

Another interesting day at Andela home session day two. They say that a journey of a thousand miles starts with one step, before becoming that good developer I’ve always dreamt off I have to beat all the odds, after all nothing comes easy in this life and to make it you have to sacrifice and give your best shot no matter how challenging the journey might be.

Today I started learning about TDD (test driven development) it’s a software development process that relies on the repetition of a very short development cycle: Requirements are turned into very specific test cases, then the software is improved to pass new tests, only. Through learning TDD I have developed some understanding of how my code work’s and I think it’s a good practice that any developer should follow this rule. Many developers escape this part since they see it as time wastage but I personally believe excellence is quality which surpasses ordinary standards.

Andela is unleashing the potential I never thought I possessed (learning a lot within a short span of time). Learning Flask framework has been awesome even if am not geek in it I still would prefer it to others since its good for starters and allows you to have more control about which components to use. I hope by the end of today I will to add some CRUD (create read update delete) functionality which has been quite challenging, but with this pace I can’t formulate the knowledge I will have grasped by the end of the boot camp process. #YOYO
