I worked at two different McDonald’s for a total of 9 months.
When I applied I was interviewed and hired the same day. Once training was done, my responsibilities were to maintain cleanliness of my area, follow food and health safety protocols and listen to management, ect my responsibilities changed daily, I taught myself how to take orders and cash out in back booth ,I liked the first hand experience of talking face to face with the guests. When I took that leap, I became a float team member.
My favourite part about McDonald’s was the majority of people I got interacted with. I preferred working front counter but went where I was needed.
My personality meshed okay with the job sometimes my OCD got the better of me most of the time I could keep it in check.
The greatest lesson I learned is to be reseptive to new opportunities, and to take the leap of faith it will usually pay off.
