Why I ignore the daily news and read The Economist instead (and how you can too)
John Zeratsky

Used to read the Sunday NYTimes this way (with a schema for making my way through it). I came to find the travel section too rich (price point), the magazine section trying too hard to be smarty, stylish and edgy (Vice-cum-Vanity Fair, in a bad way), and even the Book Review, as good as it is, often feels written by tired people. This will be more economical (pun accepted, if not intended). Thanks. Print subscription purchased.
