January is heating up
According to USA Today, it has been scientifically confirmed that January, 2016, was the warmest in history. The average global temperature for January, 2016, was 55.5 degrees, which is 1.9 degrees above the average January temperature. January now marks the ninth month in a row to set a monthly temperature record on a global scale.
Bolivian protest kills 6 people
Wednesday, Feb. 17, 6 city workers in Bolivia died from asphyxiation and 28 people were severely injured. According to ABC News, protesters set part of a municipal building on fire after a march for better schools and more teachers. The police where not present during the protest and the deaths are being blamed on the provocateurs allied with Morales’ Movement Toward Socialism.
The best beaches in the world
TripAdvisor did its yearly ranking of the top beaches in the world and it officially announced that Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos is the No. 1 best beach. According to CNN, TripAdvisor picks its winners based on quality and quantity of rating on the beaches over that year. The U.S. beach that was ranked No. 1 in the States was Florida’s Clearwater Beach.
