I can’t say I forced it, as the job opportunity appeared from the reading of a newspaper on the daily train commute, but I did leave my family and my country to work in Saudi for eight years. At the time I didn’t think I was looking for a change. Maybe I was, yes, upon reflection, I needed a change, and the exit out of a bad situation. You have captured that well in your strategy of figuring out the next move in one’s life journey. “Burning bridges”. Hoping I will “figure it out” when I get home again.
