The Polish People’s Party’s history traces back to 1895, when it held the name People’s Party, although its name was changed to the present one in 1903.

During the Second Polish Republic was all supportive of agrarian policies, although they spanned from the left-wing to the Centre — right on the political spectrum. It was reformed to the People’s Party shortly after the Sanation taken power over, it was a part the formation of Polish government — in — exile during the World War II, and after the war it was again reformed into the Polish People’s Party, and soon after into the United People’s Party.

During the existence of the Polish People’s Republic, it was seen as a satellite party of the ruling Polish United Workers’ Party that promoted rural interests. After the fall of communism, it participated in the governments led by the Democratic Left Alliance.

In the mid — 2000s, it began shifting more to the center-right and it adopted more conservative policies. It entered in the government again following the 2007 parliamentary election, and since 2015 it has served in the opposition.

Voting for Władysław Kosiniak — Kamysz and his party seems the best option in this election.

  1. A new health care program, screen written by Kamysz who is a medical doctor himself, he would like to give people a medical system better than it had been before pandemia, with a special focus on a cancer treatment, I would say from my perspective of remission, when a cancer treatment being on a life support in Poland, and circulatory system diseases neglected, Kamysz is a responsible choice. I would like to remind about data showed that the effectiveness of the cancer treatment, especially breast cancer had been decreasing before pandemia already (Wojtasiński, 2021).

The strategy included Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, which Poland hasn’t been implementing in fully, because of issues related to social education almost non existing in Poland and lack of awareness in many aspects, such as HPV and ovarian cancer, or prostate cancer. According to the party, if they won they would spent £3.47 billion to early cancer diagnosis, mass cancer screening, and equal, fair access to oncologists.

2. A full medical help for pregnant women and supporting a safe space for women during labour allowing us to spend difficult moments with families, like many women in the UK have been able to do. Kamysz and his party are aiming to get the same rights for women in Poland, a respectful way to treat women as human beings, finally.

3. Increasing a public spending on heath care, to the 6.8% GDP.

If someone asked me what is next on the list, apart from medicine, I would say I am satisfied, because Kamysz and his party offers the golden goose, something so incredible and something we supposed to implement in Poland long time ago, but we didn’t, something which would have saved my two friends from advanced blood and brain cancers. Something would have saved me from Sarcoma eating through my leg, the tumor I removed abroad in late stage III with hopes to not die, because in Poland women always are hysteric perspective… After all what what would be more convincing than trying saving lives?
