This is an absolutely fantastic read and very well written with great examples. Everyone is aware of the trend of companies lowering value but increasing price (take food for example: smaller packets, more watered down product, but higher price). I have always said that I’d much rather pay that little more and know I am getting a good product. It’s the same for all businesses and is highlighted here with the Uber/Juno comparison. If you’re getting a cheap product that seems too good to be true, chances are it is and that someone, somewhere is getting a raw deal. I’d much rather give my business to glassboxes and know that my money is going in the right direction.
