March 2017: A Big Shout Out To My Wordpress Followers And Those Who Haven’t Signed Up For The Newsletter Yet!
First, I want to thank you for reading Notes of Jo. If this is not your first time clicking into my post, I am sending you a big virtual hug! And for those who are already following me using the WordPress.com Reader: Thank you for taking interests in reading what I have to say — this means a lot to me. Do you know? Notes of Jo just turned eight months old! I wrote my first post here on August 31, 2016.
Notes of Jo is a relatively new blog, and I am learning through trials and errors. You might also notice that I haven’t written as often as I would love to until this past month. Anyhow, recently, the blog has an obvious increase in views! As the blog is rapidly growing, I have some thoughts in mind.
I am planning to send out a weekly newsletter to my subscribers in the very near future.
The newsletter will include a list of my latest posts, personal updates, travel photos, tips and ideas, and occasionally, exclusive offers. Sometimes, I will also answer a reader’s question in the newsletter. It could be about travel, music, study abroad, or simply about life.
If you follow me with wordpress.com’s “Follow” button, or if you signed up with my old subscription forms, currently, Wordpress sends you an email with every new blog post I newly update. It’s a good way to stay up to date, but it’s not the best way. The layout isn’t particularly ideal and doesn’t say much besides the first few lines of my new post. It could look like spam.
I love building connections with my readers. A newsletter will help me to reach you better and send you clearer information on what’s up. I’d also love to reward my subscribed readers with exclusive deals. So, if you haven’t subscribed using the form below, I hope you do. It’s free!
Thanks again for letting me sharing my journey with you :-) Let me know what is working and what is not. After all, I want to provide the best viewing experience for my blog readers!
