#PRAYER THE KEY TO SUCCESSS: NO PRAYER, NO POWER#

What is prayer? Prayer is an invocation or act that seeks to activate a rapport with a deity, an object of worship, or a spiritual entity through deliberate communication. A prayerful life will gain stronghold towards success. The reason why many Christians do not experience victory is because they lack an important foundation key to success (prayer) contrary to common religious believes,prayer is not pleading with God or bargaining with Him to act on your behalf,neither is it characterized by a lot of spiritual sounding clichés that do not line up with the word. Prayer simply means communicating with God by speaking His word to Him in faith. When we pray this way, results are inevitable.
Hebrews 4:12 clearly describes the power of that word, it says; “ for the word of God is quick, powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and it’s a discerner of that thoughts and intents of the heart. Verse 14 encourages believers to hold on to our profession. In other words speak God’s word because it is power-packed. When we pray according to God’s will believing that we have already received what we are praying for, God will make our prayers come true. He honors his words not our emotions. Prayer should produce rest or peace of mind. Many people pray fear-based prayers and hope they are getting through to God but they don’t have confidence in what they are praying. The Bible says when we believe the word; we will enter into the state of rest. The integrity of the word speaks for itself and will never fail. By allowing the word to be the foundation of our prayer life, our confidence in our prayers will soar to new heights. We must know that the scripture is infallible and have no doubt that God says it’s true and we already posses it. I urge you to begin to pray for the solution to your problems first, rather than bombard Heaven with desperate pleas. Prayer is the language through which you and the Father fellowship with one another. It is through your dialogue with Him that your faith to believe His promises through Jesus Christ will come to pass. As you spend time with Him in prayer, you will begin to recognize His voice more clearly. He desires to direct you at every turn , and a developed prayer life will make it easier for Him to guide you.
Every prayer in life is a prayer failure. God has already done everything He is going to do; the work has already been completed. Our job is to pray faith filled prayers that are based on His word expect to receive results. Make no mistake about it, prayer is absolutely essential to our walking in the manifestation of God’s promises. It is a key to getting results as a Christian. Our prayers are heard, when we make the word of God the foundation of our prayer life, we are guaranteed victory. We must not allow religion or tradition to blind us to the truth of what prayer really is.

Prayer is the key in the hand of faith to unlock Heaven’s store house, therefore every trial is a call to pray and every difficulty is an invitation to our knees. Prayer has the potency to unlock abundance blessing. Prayer should be a habit, you need to communicate with God everyday of your life because it is important , not only in times of need but in all circumstance. The shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor. When you knee to God , you can stand up to anything you have to first seek God’s face and permission. The devil smiles when you makes plans, he laughs when you get too busy but he trembles when you pray.
There is aggressive power in prayer. Don’t worry about any problem, take it to the Lord in prayer, He deliver you and don’t forget to thank Him when you get answers. When you form the habit of praying, you will experience God’s peace which is more wonderful than the human mind can understand. The greatest purpose or dividend to prayer and faith is not that your circumstances will change but to change you as well, to fit into God’s will , to realize divine purpose for your life. Always pray that the will of God be done in all situation.
Successful people are heroes of prayer, they don nothing without first seeking God’s face , his will and approval. Prayer may not change all things for you the way you want them but it surely changes you for all things. When you don’t pray there will be no power to manifest in your endevours but when you humbly pray to God, things will go well with you. Don’t brag about the things you achieve in life because it all came from God, rather praise Him for whom you are and he will lift you up higher.
Prayer is God’s way of bringing change to your life. According to Luke 18:1 we Christians should always pray and not give up. Ephesians 6:18 tells us to pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and request, and 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says; pray continually.

#keys to improve the effectiveness of your prayer life#
* Get right with God
Begin by trusting in James 5:16 which says ; “ the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.The prophet Isaiah expresses it this way in Isaiah 59:2 “your iniquities have separated you from your God. Your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. Sin stifles prayer. The first key to a more effective prayer life is to get right with God by repenting of your sins.
* pray God’s will
God will only do the things which are consistent with His will. He exists to fulfill his purposes, not yours or anyone else. Pray for His will in every circumstance. 1 John 5:14 says; this is the confidence we have in approaching God. That if we ask anything according to His will ,he hears us. And if we know that we know what he asked of Him. The second key is to ask anything according to God’s will. If you are not sure of God’s will in a given situation, pray “thy will be done”. James 4:3 tells us why some prayer requests are not granted. The verses reads; when you ask, you do not receive because you ask with wrong motives. God sees all and knows all and His motives are right. Align all your prayer requests with His perfect will.
*Keep praying
matthew 7:7 Jesus says “ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you will find ,knock and the door will be opened to you. The tense of the greek verbs in this verse are instructing you ask and keep knocking. Note the progression from asking to seeking to knocking. God is telling you to press into Him, seek his face always. Picture a mountain climber pulling himself up with a rope and advancing towards the summit. All of the movement is by the climber he is pulling himself up and not pulling the summit down. This is a metaphor for your prayer life. Prayer pulls you up, moves you closer to God, and prepares you for His answer.
*Believe in God’s answers
This final key is to believe in God for His answer that is sure to come. Jesus declares this fact in the following two gospel passages. Matthew 21:22 “if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer” and mark 11:24 says; therefore I tell you whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. God is your good father and He will always do what is best for you in response for your prayers.
God owns our life ,He holds your destiny . Communicating with Him always will make you have the spirit filled power that can help you actualize your purpose in life. Being prayerful can help you become spiritually stable in faith and you will know the right path to follow in all you do in order to be successful. The only key you need to unlock success is prayer.
