UX Design Methods & Deliverables

Hi, I found this article extremely interesting and useful, since I believe this is the most hardest part to figure out as one continues to study about UX design. One particular part of a UX designer routine that I still kind of struggle with, is how to distribute this tasks in deadlines when working with sprints. The team I joind recently expects things to be done in few weeks ( in a agile method kind of way) and I cant figure out how to fit most of this deliverables in such short time. What do you think of that? Are you used to deliver this whole workflow in few weeks, or does it takes months?
