I don’t care if he hasn’t lived up to the expectations. If Minny has paid attention to the Hayward situation, they’re locking him in, pronto.
He’s 22, he’s already shown legit superstar potential (not PG13 or Hayward “superstar” levels) and he has never been in a team with veterans to hold his d accountable. If you take the expectations out of the equation, everybody would be saying they need to sign him. Minny shouldn’t think this twice just because he was already supposed to be this good, or even better, before entering the league.
