I Have You

Who told you that you have to be everything?

That you have to help yourself

That you have to move yourself

That you have to find yourself, by yourself

Where did that belief come from?

How did you remove your eyes from the One that created you?

If you didn’t make yourself, how can you save yourself?

If you didn’t build yourself, how can you mold yourself?

It was never meant to be you. As it was in the beginning, so it will be in the end.

Forget what they said, it’s ok to not be ok. It’s ok to not have enough. It’s ok to not have what it takes. It’s ok to feel inadequate. It’s ok. People who are free, don’t need saving.

I just need you to remember that you have someone. You have Me.

When they ask you who you know, remember you know Me.

When it’s dark and no one knows how it hurts, remember you have Me.

When you cry and no one see, remember I am right there with you.

Abide in Me and I in you. What a tree is to a branch, so am I to you.

The sun in all its glory cannot offer more to the branch than the tree.

The storm, no matter how strong cannot take the branch from the tree unless it lets it.

I have you and no man born of a woman can take you away from Me.

I, the Creator of all that you see, have you.

When you can’t go on anymore, I have you.

When you have no strength left, I have you.

When you’ve spent all you have, I have you.

When it makes no sense, I have you.

And because I have you, you can.
