Travel to Monte Verde

Day 29

Travelling from Ometepe to Monte Verde, Costa Rica via a different ferry that we used to get there. We said goodbye to Kayla as she was staying in Nicaragua at a hostel before she was going back to Canada for the Ski and Snowboard season.

We all took several taxi’s to the Nicaraguan border before heading into Costa Rica and traveling to Monte Verde. The climate changed a lot as we traveled up into the mountains from the ocean. Being in Costa Rica was the first time in a while where we started seeing regular houses with a yard and fences.

Once Emma and I got settled in our hotel room, we got to check out our amazing view of the valley. We then went to dinner which was at a restaurant that surrounds a big tree, the food was ok but tree was better than the food. After that we went back to the hotel so we could relax after another busy day of travel.
