February Poem

I was distracted with school work + research this month and forgot to write a poem. On the last day of February, here it is!

My eyes are tired of seeing

Rascals in their crimson drenched coats

Trenches of text soaked parchment, dripping

Ink stained hands

My eyes are tired of seeing

Hands clenched, dry and cracked

Paper pouring from printers

Rascals spitting out stained and coated texts

My eyes are tired of seeing

Crimson clenched hands

Stained ink on their coats

Printers and paper dripping in trenches

Parched and tired

Seeing crimson

My eyes are ink stained

Coated cracked and dry

My eyes are clenched

I am tired of seeing
